Payroll

Each employee has a role and a pay tier. The tier splits gross pay into basic, housing, transport and utilities allowances by percentage, with the remainder as food & entertainment. It also sets pension, housing fund and income tax rates.

• Net pay = gross pay − pension − housing fund − income tax.
• Intentrun creates one pending entry per active employee each month, scheduled for your pay day. If the month is shorter, it uses the last day.
• Approving a pending entry pays the outstanding balance: Wages Payable is debited and Cash & Cash Equivalents credited.
• The Owner role is built in and cannot be deleted.
